i hate singapore but i like smu.

a foreign student said this in my mpw class today.

i wonder wad is so detestable abt sg.
well, most things sgreans dislike abt this country are not applicable to him.
eg, expensive cars, expensive housing.

unless he meant the strict laws u know.
he cant spit here, he cant eat in the mrt, he cant litter, he cant chew gum.
perhaps he hates the weather; although i tot most ppl frm european countries wld welcome the tropical sun.
or maybe he cant surf here; no crashing waves dude.

i dun have gd impression of them, sad to say.
some are nicer.
some are just unfriendly.
and i guess some still have this f**ked up idea tt they are still more superior than us asians.

and just the other day, this foreign student from an asian country wrote a sarcastic email to SAS, demanding to know y his startup club was only allocated peanuts this budgeting period.
errrrrm.
tts not the way to ask for more cash for ur club rite.
it will only get u into the bad books of the financial controller, eventho budget is given out by adhering to certain guidelines.
im pretty sure he can get this point across w/o using phrases like: "this budget is a joke" and "pls tell me y the club has such a generous amt of budget given"
well, we shld just take his words at face value and cut his budget i say.
